MINNESOTA, Kandiyohi SWCD – Farmers interested in implementing best management practices aimed at reducing runoff or upgrading or installing new septic systems may be eligible for low-interest financing.

The Kandiyohi Soil and Water Conservation District is encouraging interested agricultural producers in the county to contact it regarding the Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s AgBMP loan program. It can provide low-interest financing for projects that prevent or reduce runoff from feedlots or agricultural fields and other problems identified by the county in their local water plans.
