Job: Engineering Section Manager for Board of Water and Soil Resources

MINNESOTA – The Minnesota Board of Water and Soil Resources is seeking to fill the position of Chief Engineer/Engineering Section Manager.

This position exists to direct, lead, manage, supervise, and implement statewide conservation programs and responsibilities of the Engineering Section in compliance with state statutes, rules, and legislative directives to protect, enhance, or restore state soil and water resources with emphasis directed to local governments, private land, and private landowners. This position is responsible for assuring that engineering assistance provided to private landowners, local governments, and other entities by BWSR and local government clientele are successfully integrated with state, federal, university, and private organization initiatives to attain an effective and efficient natural resource conservation delivery system. This position serves as the agency’s Chief Engineer and as the State Drainage Engineer.

This position offers a salary of $83,311 – $119,496/annually. Applications will be accepted through April 5, 2019.
