MICHIGAN, Kalkaska CD – The Kalkaska Conservation District (KCD) and Grand Traverse Hiking Club (GTHC) invite all to join them for monthly weeknight hikes on the North Country National Scenic Trail (NCT) to nearby Smith Lake.

KCD Conservation Specialist Renee Penny will lead both hikes.

“A ton of work has gone into making Kalkaska a Trail Town on the NCT,” Penny said, “and now we all need to get out and enjoy our great trail system.”
