Program on Columbia County wetlands slated for Aug. 13 in Ghent

NEW YORK, Columbia County SWCD – Learn about wetlands and their economic and enviornmental value at “Liquidity — Exploring the Diversity and Values of Wetlands in Columbia County,” a forum sponsored by the Columbia County Soil and Water Conservation District and the Hudson River Estuary Program on Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the Mud Creek Environmental Learning Center, 1024 state Route 66.

The free program will explore the diverse wetlands of the Hudson Valley, their economic and environmental values, and the need to presrve them.
