Bite of Berks takes bite out of college costs for Berks County environmental students

PENNSYLVANIA, Berks County CD – A Bite of Berks is a competitive tasting event featuring local restaurants, bakeries, caterers, food trucks, orchards, wineries and other food related businesses, offering a sample bite of something delicious.

A Bite of Berks is a fundraising event for the Conservation District Scholarship Fund.

High school and college-age students pursuing environmental sciences or a related a career path will be awarded scholarships from the conservation district in the amounts of $10,000, $6,000, $4,000 and $400. A number of other scholarships will also be awarded.
