The National Conservation District Employees Association builds bridges to assist the more than 7,000 conservation district professionals who implement conservation programs in their local communities.
We bring the knowledge and experience of conservation district employees to many partnership committees and to discussions about programs, policies, and procedures with various state and federal officials.
We coordinate with like-minded partners to achieve our mission. NCDEA is a core member of the National Conservation Partnership and National Conservation Planning Partnership.
NCDEA recognizes exemplary conservation district employees and conservation district board members, and we offer a competitive scholarship to members and their families.
Every one of the more than 7,000 conservation district employees across the United States and territories is a member of NCDEA.
Our activities are organized and governed by a board of directors with representatives from all regions of the country.
All of our directors are active in various association committees to help us continue to achieve our goals.
Regional directors around the country maintain regular contact with conservation district employees.
