OREGON, Grant SWCD – Grant Soil & Water Conservation District, based in John Day, OR is seeking to fill its District Manager Position.  This leadership position provides managerial, administrative, supervisory, educational, and technical support, on behalf of the District Board of Directors, in carrying out daily business operations and successful implementation of sponsored conservation activities. Qualified candidates require skills in program and project development and administration, communications, financial management, personnel supervision, and possess knowledge and/or experience in farming and ranching industries and related conservation practices. Salary: $60-$70K, plus benefits.

OREGON, Yamhill SWCD – The Invasive Species Program Coordinator (Coordinator) will manage a roadside inventory project and act as the project manager for invasive species projects to control mouse-ear hawkweed, garlic mustard and knotweed in Yamhill County. The position is funded partly through a cooperative agreement with Yamhill County Public Works Department (YCPWD), and will be involved in coordinating work with the District, YCPWD, and other conservation partners involved in invasive species management. The position is located in a multi-agency office at 2200 SW Second Street in McMinnville, Oregon. The candidate must work cooperatively with other agencies and groups.

The Jefferson Conservation District has a job opening for a Conservation Forester.  The position is non-exempt, full-time (40 hours per week).  The position is located in Lakewood, Colorado (Denver Federal Center, Offices of the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service).
